The project involved relocating the portion of the Second Los Angeles Aqueduct that is situated on Terminal Hill’s north facing slope. The relocated section was designed to connect to the existing 76-inch pipeline in Magazine Canyon through a new tunnel via approximately 580 feet of new 84-inch steel pipe. GeoPentech provided field investigations and geophysical studies and assisted in th preparation of the Geotechnical Base Report for the project. GeoPentech also provided geotechnical and geologic construction services in support of the construction of Terminal Hill ByPass Tunnel and Shaft.
